Find A Career

Dunbar Golf Club is seeking to appoint a Seasonal Golf Operations Assistant to join our team for the 2026 golf season (mid‑April to the end of September).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for golf and customer service to gain experience within a busy and highly regarded links golf club.

This is an exciting year for the club as we transition from our current clubhouse into our state‑of‑the‑art new clubhouse opening in October. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering a welcoming and memorable experience for both members and visiting golfers throughout the season.

The role will involve working across several key areas of the golf operation, delivering a high standard of service while supporting the day‑to‑day running of the club.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Professional Shop Operations welcoming members and visitors, managing tee sheet bookings, checking in golfers and assisting with the sale of merchandise and general enquiries.
  • Starter & Marshalling Duties assisting on the first tee, ensuring groups start on time, maintaining pace of play and helping golfers enjoy the full Dunbar experience while adhering to club guidelines.
  • Visitor Experience – meeting and greeting guests, providing information about the course and facilities, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for all golfers.
  • Golf Operations Support – preparing and maintaining golf buggies, assisting with daily operational tasks and supporting the team during busy visitor periods.

The successful candidate will be friendly, reliable and self‑motivated with strong organisational skills and a positive attitude. The ability to work effectively within a small team in a busy seasonal environment is essential. An interest in golf would be beneficial but is not essential.

The role will involve flexible working hours, including weekends and busy visitor days during the golf season.

We are looking to complete the recruitment process promptly.
